Name

A corner stone is a stone that is set outside a building. An inscription can always be found on such stones. The inscription consists of the date of construction of the building along with the name of the architect or builder. The usual location of the stone is above the foundation so that it can be easily visible. The corner stones are placed by doing some ceremony. A trowel is used so that mortar can be spread under the stone. The stone is hammered to be placed on the wall. A cavity can often be found in the corner stone which consists of a time capsule or votive deposit. If you want to have a corner stone in your building, you can contact Stone Art Hub.
